Biding Time in the Gold Flocked Basement Twixt Death and Funeral. I worked on this digital quilt while visiting my dad in the hospital before he died. I also worked on it in the horrible basement, the basement that hardly changed since my parents bought the house in 1973, because the Colorado heat upstairs was insufferable.
