Momentary Sputnik #10
Based on stylized mid-century design forms that I've been playing around with for many years now, such as my dingbat font "Satellite" (dingbatcave.com). This sputnik's round pink center was conjured up in the lab as a mistake while experimenting with better living through digital chemistry. It reminds me of something plastic I might have seen or had as a child in the swinging '60s or as a teen in the 70s. It's soft, almost rubbery, and somewhat translucent. Perhaps one of those fluorescent scented erasers...why don't they make them anymore? Feet have a strange pearlescent glaze.
