Based on stylized mid-century design forms that I've been playing around with for many years now, such as my dingbat font "Satellite" (dingbatcave.com). This is an all-brass Sputnik, featuring brass tubing for the legs, brass pipe attaching the legs to the feet, which is made out of a strange translucent brass (very top-secret!) and a hand-molded brass center. Floats over a Venusian planet.
